This country home had a small kitchen which would not allow more than 2 people at the same time and did not have any room for an island.  The fireplace between the kitchen and the living room obstructed the space and the flow within the house. The space needed to be opened up to create a bigger kitchen, a more functional and entertaining space for the guests. Livwell Collective renovated this home by removing the fireplace and wall allowing space for a functioning island. Livwell Collective could also retract the laundry room wall further and built in a bar in the kitchen. The new kitchen now fits the second phase of life of the couple after the kids had moved out.
